Borer has developed FUSION T&A and FUSION Web Interface to reduce management involvement and the administrative effort required to manage time and attendance by Records and Monitor Personnel clocking in and out.

Attendance management systems require considerable and sustained administrative effort to effectively produce meaningful management information. Effort is required to distribute reports and summaries, adjust attendance records for absences, missed clockings and holidays, or answer staff queries.

Borer Message Display Terminal

Reads Mifare multifunction cards or Proximity cards. The screen displays the time of day and shows attendance balance when you clock. The keypad has 'IN' and 'OUT' keys for out of hours clockings.

The keypad also enables you to input absence notification codes. It can also be used for locker access control, which enables a card presented at a reader to selectively open a specified locker from a bank of lockers.

The elimination of unnecessary equipment together with a low energy profile delivers a "Cleaner, Leaner and Greener" solution, reducing lifetime cost of ownership.

Attendance Summary

FUSION Web puts the information directly onto the manager's desktop by linking attendance data held on the FUSION database to an Intranet website. Then by simply using a web browser supplied with every PC, managers can instantly:

• Review employee absence history
• View employee attendance records
• List all staff in attendance
• Correct employee attendance records to accommodate absence or a missed clocking
• Authorize adjustments requested by employees

Managers with password clearance can use a web browser to check manning levels, review staff attendance and locate staff.

Web enabling provides:

• Up-to-Date staffing information so that managers can, at a click, see who is in attendance, on holiday, sick leave or absent
• Less Administration, managers can review attendance data from their desktop PCs
• Reduced paperwork, attendance reports are distributed electronically to managers
• Efficient handling of queries, members of staff can review their own attendance records without having to refer to a manager

The attendance plan update menu allows the flexitime administrator to create / amend work plans to suite individual groups of employees
