Borer's FUSION Smartcard Reader Flexible Front Face.

Designed with a sleek glossy black front and matching black matte base and measuring just 45mm wide, the FUSION Smartcard Reader is well-equipped for both indoor and outdoor environments.

The glossy front is designed to be both durable and flexible to deal with repeated handling and removal. The reader is built to operate within extreme temperature range of between -25 to 60° C without snapping or breaking under normal working conditions.

Aside from the sturdy design, one of the most impressive feature is that firmware updates can be downloaded directly to the reader over the network. Enabling new smartcards technologies to be supported when they are introduced without having to buy and install a new replacement reader (e.g. move from Mifare to DESFire).
