Virgin Atlantic to employ 500 airline workers

Richard Branson’s airline company Virgin Atlantic will be taking on hundreds of new cabin crew under plans to expand its fleet in the UK.
Virgin Atlantic has announced it will employ 500 airline workers, based at Heathrow and Gatwick airports. The airline will also be creating new routes to Vancouver and Cancun and taking delivery of seven new planes.
Steve Ridgeway, CEO at Virgin Atlantic, told the BBC that the economy is tough out there but many companies in the private sector are trying to expand their business.
