Travelodge to create 400 jobs
30 January 2013
The hotel chain is creating 420 new jobs across the UK and Spain this year as it opens 14 new hotels.
The news comes alongside Travelodge’s announcement that it is investing £223 million into its brand this year.
Of the 420 jobs, 370 are located in hotels across the UK in cities such as London, Cambridge and Manchester. There are also positions available in the two new Spanish Travelodge hotels opening in Barcelona and Madrid.
In addition, 30 jobs will be apprentice roles recruited for Travelodge’s successful Junior Management Programme (JuMP) which was launched in 2011. The JuMP scheme was developed to support Travelodge’s growth and to help Britain’s unemployed youngsters back into work.
The fast track management programme provides a real job, with the opportunity of on the job training throughout the business, combined with further education and the opportunity to earn up to £30,000 and to become a hotel manager in three years.
Borer's FUSION Time Recording System
With a high number of employees on payroll, using Borer's FUSION Time Recording System will help reduce management involvement and the administrative effort required to manage a time management scheme.
It is labour demanding to manage and maintain a centrally administered or paper based flexitime system. Invariably, queries arise in relation to flexi balances and the process can become a very complicated one, particularly for the HR department.
Implementing an automated time and attendance system makes things very easy for both employees and their managers alike.
