Three to create 380 jobs in Glasgow
23 October 2012
Mobile operator Three is to create 380 jobs in Glasgow over the next two years.
Three will be hiring for sales and support roles in the city as part of a UK recruitment campaign.
The firm currently has 550 staff working in Glasgow, with the increase in workers due to the growing demand for smartphones. Roles available include 340 outbound sales advisors and 40 managers and support staff.
The firm will also spend £3million upgrading its premises and provide space for new staff. Skills Development Scotland is providing £270,000 to support training opportunities for the new employees.
Three is hiring for a further 400 roles in its retail operations across the UK and in its Maidenhead office.
Dave Dyson, UK Chief Executive of Three, says: "As the UK's fastest growing mobile company, we are experiencing a surge in demand for smartphones and we're supporting that with a network that delivers a great internet experience."
More Flexibility in the workplace with Borer's FUSION T&A System.
Borer's Time and Attendance system is designed to offer employees more flexibility in the workplace. With more and more emphasis being placed on work life balance, organisations must define procedures to support employees.
One way to do this is by implementing flexitime by providing staff with flexible working hours to accommodate those working part-time, family priorities, covering absences and job sharing.
