Jaguar Land Rover to create 700 jobs
5 March 2013
Jaguar Land Rover will double the size of their West Midlands engine plant, creating a further 700 jobs.
The i54 business plant, based between Staffordshire and Wolverhampton, will employ around 1,400.
Chief Executive Ralf Speth says: “Jaguar Land Rover’s new engine manufacturing centre in the UK is a clear demonstration of our business strategy guiding our investment plans.
“Not only does it bring our engine supply back to our production doorstep, but it gives us significant new resource as we continue to innovate with new product markets.”
The company revealed that investment for the i54 site would be over £500 million.
Borer's FUSION Time Recording System
With a high number of employees on payroll, using Borer's FUSION Time Recording System will help reduce management involvement and the administrative effort required to manage a time management scheme.
It is labour demanding to manage and maintain a centrally administered or paper based flexitime system. Invariably, queries arise in relation to flexi balances and the process can become a very complicated one, particularly for the HR department.
Implementing an automated time and attendance system makes things very easy for both employees and their managers alike.
