Baskin-Robbins to create 400 jobs
3 May 2012
Baskin-Robbins is planning to open approx 80 franchises of ice cream shops in the UK, potentially creating up to 400 job roles.
The announcement comes after the chain opened three new venues yesterday in NW London, Middlesex and Hertfordshire.
Owned by the firm behind Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin-Robbins already has 100 UK sites, including stand-alone restaurants and concessions in shops and cinemas. The company has more than 6,700 locations in nearly 50 countries around the world.
Nigel Travis, chief executive of parent group Dunkin Brands, says: “Baskin-Robbins’ further growth in the UK provides an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop a franchise business. It also means hundreds of new jobs, which we are particularly pleased to be supporting.”
