Balfour Beatty warns 12,000 workers of job losses

The FTSE 250 infrastructure business has warned 12,000 staff in the UK that they could lose their jobs.
Balfour Beatty, UK’s biggest construction company has announced that it will conduct a consultation process after the downturn within the building industry.
While 12,000 staff have been warned they may lose their jobs, the exact number of cuts planned are yet to be revealed.
The motive of the consultation process is to align the resources of Balfour Beatty’s Construction Services UK business to current and future market conditions.
