Amazon UK opens new central London offices
1 June 2013
Internet giant Amazon is opening a central London office, bringing 1,600 jobs to the capital.
Amazon will move several hundred employees from the company's current offices in Slough to the new 12-storey, 210,000 sq ft location in Holborn by the end of 2013. However, the company will also be hiring.
The expansion will facilitate Amazon's plans to begin focusing on new areas including book publishing and television production.
Announcement of the new office follows Amazon's opening of a 47,000 sq ft development for its expanding video services division LoveFilm near London's Barbican Centre.

Borer's FUSION Time Recording System
With a large number of employees, using Borer's FUSION Time Recording System will help reduce management involvement and the administrative time and effort required to manage a time management scheme.
It is demanding to manage and maintain a centrally administered or paper based flexitime system. Invariably, queries arise in relation to flexi balances and the process can become a very complicated one, particularly for the HR department. Using an online system helps alleviate the unnecessary paperwork.
