Allstate create 650 jobs in the NI

Northern Ireland-based software company Allstate is to create 650 jobs in Belfast, Derry and Strabane, Co Tyrone.
The company currently employs over 1,900 people in Northern Ireland.
In 1999 a Belfast-born mechanical engineer called Bro McFerran was involved with a start-up technology company, Northbrook Technology.
The firm got a major break when it developed a relationship with the US insurance giant, Allstate, that employs over 38,000 people, and is a market leader.
In 2008, Allstate became the parent company of the Belfast enterprise.
As a result of today's announcement, the current workforce of 1,900 at sites in Belfast, Derry and Strabane will grow over 2,500.
