At this year's IIPSEC, Borer Data Systems will be
previewing the next generation of low power, energy efficient products. These products are designed to Borer's "Clean Design"
philosophy.
“Clean Design” is about asking smart questions early. Can we make it lighter? What will happen at the end of its life? Can
it run on less power? Can we build it with fewer parts? Use less packaging? Design out the need for hazardous materials?
Design it to be upgraded rather than replaced? Design in ease of maintenance?
Borer will reveal a world first in access control, demonstrating an access door with power and data delivered down
standard CAT5e structured cable.
The next generation of products meet the following criteria:
Clean
Smaller footprint, no control boxes (less wall space), no mains power connectors...
Lean
Less infrastructure, less space required, faster installation, reduction in the quantity of equipment deployed...
Green
Meets with EU regulations, such as the RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC), reduced energy consumption, reduction of raw materials used
during manufacture...
Find out more at stand 019 and at the IP Workshop Learning Zone, where we will be holding practical demonstrations.
These Clean, Lean, Green products are scheduled to be released at the end of the 1st quarter 2007.
